Safe, secure and incredibly convenient, Southern Community Business Online Banking service allows you to handle almost any banking task from the comfort of your office, home or anywhere you can connect to the Internet. With Business Online Banking, your local Southern Community branch is only a mouse click away. We offer two levels of service:

Basic

• View accounts, make transfers and get single item ACH transactions for free

Bundled

• View accounts, make transfers and get ACH services for up to 5 ACH files and 100 ACH transactions per month for $25 per month

Account Management

With Business Online Banking, you have all your banking information at your fingertips 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Business Online Banking allows you to:

• Access account information, make transfers, and view statements and check images at any time (archived up to 18 months)
• Access your bank accounts through your business software - Quicken®, QuickBooks® and Microsoft® Money - and enjoy automatic reconciliations, entries, and more
• Add or remove authorized users and change passwords, on the spot
• Receive competitive pricing tailored to the specific needs of your business

Business Bill Pay

Southern Community offers online business bill payment services at a charge of $12.00 per month, with these features:

• Schedule automatic payments or make single payments quickly and easily
• Make single, recurring or scheduled transfers to other accounts
• Listing of payment history, returned payments, and transactions in process
• Customized event notifications alert you each time a particular event occurs through your bill pay account
• Customized email summary of bill pay activities at the end of each session
• Make payments from multiple accounts
• Inclusive calendar lists all payments
• Shortcut feature lets you pre-load your bills based on your payment history
• Make tax payments directly to the IRS electronically through the Electronic Federal Tax Payment System (EFTPS)

Our online banking systems can integrate with this familiar software program to make managing your business finances as simple and easy as possible.

 

ACH and Wire Transfer Services

Through the National Association of Automated Clearing Houses (ACH) and Southern Community, you can receive deposits or make payments electronically to and from virtually any location. Applications include domestic wires, corporate trade payments, tax payments, and pre-authorized payments and deposits. You can review and manage transactions using Business Online Banking or Touchtone Banking phone service.

Positive Pay Fraud Protection

Positive Pay prevents losses from altered or unauthorized checks written on your account. An electronic file is supplied to Southern Community every time you write a check, and if a check is presented for payment that you didn't issue, you're notified.

  • Enhanced Login Security offers the highest level of safety and privacy by verifying your identity and the bank’s identity
  • The bank identifies you through a unique access code, then you identify the bank through a unique photo and pass phrase combination
  • User ID’s and passwords are isolated from the Internet and stored on our own computer
  • Passwords and ID’s cannot be accessed or downloaded by anyone on the Internet
  • User passwords can vary from six to eight characters, so the chance of randomly guessing a password is less than one in one billion
  • The system checks for invalid logins and automatically disallows a user after three invalid attempts, prohibiting "hackers" from gaining access to your accounts
  • You are the only one who knows your password, no bank employee will know it or have access to it
